The Fifty Shades of Grey Party Game – Early Details of Release
E L James is adding more official goodness to the Fifty Shades world with the release of a party game! Just in time for Christmas, the Fifty Shades of Grey Party Game will be hitting the shelves on December 14th in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with retailers in the UK able to start picking them up on December 6th. This is officially licensed stuff, not some knock off that a rogue game company has picked up.
“We are delighted to be partnering with E L James on this project,” said Shane Yeend, the CEO Imagination, who is handling the game. “The 50 Shades books are a bona fide cultural phenomenon, and they offer an exciting new play pattern for our range of party games that allows everyone to finally reveal their Inner Goddess.”
For those living in the US, Barnes and Noble have the Fifty Shades of Grey Party Game available for order online for $26.95 (a savings over the retail price of $29.95). You can also pick up the Red Room Edition expansion pack for $14.95.
UK residents can pick up the Fifty Shades game from WH Smiths, or Amazon.co.uk for £29.99.
From what I understand, the 50 Shades party game is a question and answer based group game where you pull a question from the deck, and the group decides who is best out of them to answer that question. Of course the questions are quite adult and made to elicit steamy answers, so the Fifty Shades of Grey Party Game is marketed to the 18+ crowd.
